Like a fine wine, this tea improves with age. Deep brown in colour, yet mellow, almost liqueur like. An ideal way to finish a perfect meal.
A famous tea highly prized for its medicinal properties is said to aid indigestion and lower cholesterol leading to weight loss. Like fine wines Pu Erh will get better with age. Our teas are aged, mellow tasting with an earthy aroma reminiscent of truffles. It is best served from the Yi Xing Zi Sha ware..(check the “Complete The Look” section in the right hand corner) *Some like to add a couple of chrysanthemum flowers to smooth out the flavour and add natural sweetness.
HOW TO BREW
Add 360ml of boiled water to 1-2 teaspoons of tea and brew for 3-5 minutes. Serve as is. Refill with boiling water up to 3 times. Store in a cool dry place.
